Topwater trout in the Pamlico Sound

Teresa McCullough caught this nice 23.25″ speckled trout on topwater around Wade’s Point in the Pamlico Sound on Aug. 23 using a Heddon Spook Jr. Trout color using the walk the dog style. The trout was chasing shrimp when it hit the plug.
