The cold front has big trout active! While fishing with Jocassee Charters on January 16th on Lake Jocassee Preston landed this beautiful 25-inch, 7-poundtrout. We were trolling a mixture of Sutton Spoons and live bait when we had two rods released from the downriggers. Right as the second spotted bass hit the net, a third rod released. We all figured it was another bass until this big trout showed up behind the boat. The trout hit a Sutton Spoon at 35 feet deep.
