My daughter Amber Johnson coached by Dr. Clay Johnson, landed her first king mackerel June 13, 2023. It weighed in just over 22 pounds and bit a 10 Menhaden being slow trolled 3.5 miles off Oak Island, NC! Way to go Amber!! We have worked on them over the last 3 days finding a great bite in the 3.5 – 4.5 miles offshore.
