Redfish angler catches big carp

“Damn, not a red”

Steven Church was hoping to catch some redfish in the Sampit River in the Georgetown, S.C. area when he found himself in quite a tussle with a fish. Unfortunately for Church, it wasn’t his intended target. It was a big carp that fell for his redfish lure.

Church’s initial reaction was simply “damn, not a red,” but he admits that the carp was a lot of fun to catch, and put up a good fight.
