Fly fishing the Davidson River

The Davidson River is one of N.C.’s most popular trout waters

Wild Fly Productions teamed up with Brown Trout Fly Fishing for this video, which gives a great look at what anglers can expect when fly fishing the Davidson River.

As one of the most popular trout fishing waters in North Carolina, it can see a lot of pressure at times. But as the guides explain in this video, that’s not always the case. And even when it is, the Davidson still delivers. It’s part of what makes the river as popular as it is.

Check out the video, and keep those fly rods out of storage. With far fewer anglers out, and plenty of trout still feeding, winter is a great time to fish this river.

The folks at Brown Trout Fly Fishing welcome anglers of all skill levels. Whether you’re a seasoned fly-fisher looking to get familiar with a new fishing spot, or you’re a a beginner or average angler, these guys will tailor your trip to fit your needs and ensure you have a great time and get a shot at catching some fish.
