The redesigned NorthCarolinaSportsman.com has arrived

The new and improved front page on NorthCarolinaSportsman.com was launched today (March 1), and it will help showcase the plethora of content found on the site. Most prominently featured will be the Top Story section, through which the most-recent seven featured stories and newsbreakers will rotate. Users need only click any of the thumbnails to read the full stories.Other upgrades includes the Reports and Forums having a new home on the front page so viewers can see what’s hot by clicking on the most-viewed or most-commented tabs.

Also, the FREE classifieds have a new spot on the front page, allowing viewers can keep track of the latest ads for outdoors-related gear. They also can monitor which ads are most viewed and likely to be selling fast.

In top right-hand corner of the new page is our upgraded search function, which allows easy access to archived articles from the pages of North Carolina Sportsman and all the dedicated online content.

Popular columns from the North Carolina Sportsman magazine are also front and center, so whether you want an update on freshwater fishing or information about planting some clover at your hunt club, the columns are easier to access than ever.

Sportsman Products and Services, Featured Merchant listings and the essential New Products listings also are all on the top half of the new front page.

Online contests like the NorthCarolinaSportsman.com Trail Cam Contest now have a place on the front page, as do viewer-submitted videos.

One of the most-requested items that has been integrated into new look is our Calendar Of Events window on the front page. Conservation groups, fishing clubs and individuals can easily post upcoming events to help spread the word.

How about recipes? Who will be among the first to share their recipes in the recipe forum and have it showcased in the new Sportsman Cooking Channel box on the front page?

Information about how to subscribe to North Carolina Sportsman magazine, and many links to advertisers featuring tackle, apps, boats, timber listings and more serve to round out the brand-new NorthCarolinaSportsman.com website.
