Commission sets public hearings for September

The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission has set dates for its annual public hearings.

The hearings are the first since the Commission moved its annual public hearings from January to September as part of overall adjustments to its rule-making cycle.

All hearings begin at 7 p.m. Dates are as follows:

Sept. 7 — District 4, Bladen Community College, Dublin;

Sept. 8 — District 5, Civil Courts Building, Graham;

Sept. 9 — District 6, South Stanly H.S., Norwood;

Sept. 14 — District 8, Municipal Auditorium, Morganton;

Sept. 15 — District 9, Haywood C.C., Clyde;

Sept. 16 — District 7, John A. Walker Center, Wilkes C.C., Wilkesboro;

Sept. 21 — District 1, Swain Auditorium, Edenton;

Sept. 22 — District 2, Courthouse, New Bern;

Sept. 23 — District 3, Brown Auditorium, Nash C.C., Rocky Mount.
