SANFORD — Ward Gaskins of Cary came up a big winner last weekend, taking home the grand prize at the North Carolina Sportsman’ fishing school: a fishing trip to Venice, La.
Gaskins’ name was drawn from all participants in the school, which was held at Chatlee Boats & Motors.
The grand prize is a 1-day fishing trip for two people, plus two nights’ lodging, in Venice, La., one of the most famous fishing villages on the Gulf of Mexico.
