North Carolina Sportsman is pleased to welcome to its staff Brian Cope of Pawley’s Island, S.C., who has assumed the role of web editor for NorthCarolinaSportsman.com and its sister website, SouthCarolinaSportsman.com.
Cope, 48, is a native of Borden, S.C. He has a degree in English Literature from the University of South Carolina and has been writing about the outdoors since 2006, after ending a 20-year career as a combat communications technician for the U.S. Air Force.
Cope will be providing content for both websites and doing social-media promotions.
“I am excited about being able to spread the word around the Carolinas about the great hunting and fishing we have here,” said Cope. “I have lived in both states and hunted and fished in both states. This is really a marriage of two of my passions: the outdoors and writing.”
