Dad, son, papa: first muzzleloader hunt

My son Rocky Horton got the itch to deer hunt. Purchased a new CVA Wolf muzzleloader and spent a lot of time getting everything ready. Spent countless hours scouting with dad and his son and found a active scrape. Set up over it Saturday morning November 14 and after quite a few hours of watching and listening thinking it was not going to happen. Then all of a sudden Big Boy stepped out of the brush. Classic example of buck fever. Going from expecting nothing and about to quit for the day to Boom, Monster Buck steps out. Just a shaking, raised the muzzleloader and Bam, perfect shot. Big Boy ran about 30 yards into thick brush. Very little blood trail, but the perfect tracker, his son Ty found the trail and led us to the Big Boy. Awesome day.
