Public hearings for 2012-13 fishing and hunting regulations scheduled

The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission’s schedule of public hearings for proposed changes in 2012-13 fish-and-game laws has been released.

All meetings are begin at 7 p.m.

The schedule is:

• Sept. 6: District 4, Dublin, Bladen Community College
• Sept. 7: District 5, Graham, New Courthouse Annex
• Sept. 8: District 6, Norwood, South Stanly High School
• Sept. 13: District 8, Morganton, Municipal Auditorium
• Sept. 14: District 9, Clyde, Haywood Community College
• Sept: 15: District 7, Wilkesboro, The Walker Center at Wilkes Community College
• Sept. 20: District 1, Edenton, Swain Auditorium
• Sept. 21: District 2, New Bern, Courthouse
• Sept. 22: District 3, Rocky Mount, Nash Community College
• Sept. 28 (falconry permitting rules only): Statewide, Raleigh, Centennial Campus Auditorium
