Second chance buck showed up twice on opening day

Chad Andrews passed on a nice 8-point buck with a tall rack on the opening morning of rifle season in South Carolina’s Game Zone 4. He snapped a photo of the buck, then regretted not shooting it.

But Tom Naumann, owner of Cherokee Run Hunting Lodge where Andrews was hunting, told him not to fret.

“I said ‘you’re going back in that same stand and you’re gonna shoot him this evening.'” said Naumann. “and he did.”

Andrews is now entered in our Bag-A-Buck Contest, and is eligible to win our monthly prize pack, which includes a set of Ultimate Eyes & Ears Combo from ShellShock Pro, a YETI Rambler bottle, a prize package from Buck Commander and Duck Commander, and a Carolina Sportsman hat, as well as our Grand Prize, a 2-day hunt for two to Cherokee Run Hunting Lodge in Chesterfield County, SC.
