It was the second day of rifle season and I was hunting with my first hunting buddy, my dad. At sunrise, we had a bunch of does come to the corn pile. A coyote came out and started chasing the yearlings. The does ran off and I was able to get a shot on the coyote. Dropped him. 20 minutes later thinking the hunt was over, this buck came out in another lane. I dropped him in his tracks with my dad’s 300 PRC. I. LOVE. THAT. GUN. He was about 150 yards away. My dad and I have harvested a lot of big deer together and I’m happy the tradition can continue.
