Surry county buck

At the beginning of deer season I went and done my normal scouting placing trail cameras in multiple areas deep into the woods. I wasn’t getting any pictures of shooter bucks which had me discouraged. I had bought a saddle setup to try out this year and to be mobile in the area I am hunting. I had been shooting out of my saddle one evening and decided to go out and just pick a spot and hunt it. Went and picked a spot that I don’t have any cameras near at all. Also a spot I wouldn’t typically hunt. I’m a woods hunter never been a huge fan of hunting fields. As I was sitting that evening in the edge of the woods on a nice trail leading out into the field I had seen several small bucks and does, but no shooter bucks. Suddenly something caught my attention out of the corner of my eye and see this nice 10 point buck cruising through the field behind me. As luck would have it I couldn’t get a shot and even if I would have had an opening he was at 55 yards. I went home happy to have found a shooter buck. Two days later it was raining so I snuck into the area I thought he was staying near and placed a camera. Three days later I received my first picture of the buck and the only picture of the buck. I went in and hunted him three days after receiving the picture. He came running in and I grunted at him to stop him at 40 yards with barely anytime to get drew back I placed a perfect shot. He ran 60 yards and crashed down a very steep hill.
