I’ve been trying to figure out where this buck lived- I’ve seen him on several occasions but I only told my wife. I secured permission to hunt the places I’ve seen him and opening day- evening hunt I was in a tree at 530pm, one of my neighbors decided to target practice with a high powered rifle, then play loud music- then had a little bull dog walking around, what a noisy experience. Then at 7 everyone was quiet-losing hope because of all the noise then at dusk this bruiser stepped out with a smaller buck, I waited till the smaller one was out of sight from me drawing back my bow- then I lost the big one in the cedars beneath me, waited a little and he was moving away, I stood up on my tree stand and fired the arrow. ( Hoyt Vtm31, 70 pounds, mega meat -Broadhead) He immediately dropped at about 10-15 yards, then started moving (14-17 yards)so I shot another arrow silencing him forever. I’ve been archery only for three years now and my goal has been to get a Pope and Young buck- I’m hoping this is it
