18-point buck was killed in Marlboro County, SC

The 18-point buck I took my vacation the week he started showing up on camera in the mornings did not see the buck my 5 days off or the weekend after that the following morning I did not have to be to work until 9:00 a.m. so I decided to go another morning when I got in the stand I could hear dear chasing and it’s 7:10 a.m. he comes out chasing a doe runs all the way to the end of the food plot I didn’t think I was going to get a shot then he stopped at the end of the food plot like he was winding the air I knew this was the time to take my shot I did and he dropped in his tracks I have been hunting since I was a 9-year-old kid never had the opportunity to kill a buck of this size and less than a mile from my home I just think the good Lord for a great safe hunt for the buck of a lifetime it will always be with me in my memory the way that morning hunt played out needless to say I called into work and took another vacation day when I sent my boss to picture he already knew I was not going to make it into work today he said I will see you tomorrow great buck enjoy your day
