Rowan at 7 years old had a goal to kill his first deer this year. After going and watching since he was 3 with his dad he decided this was his year. We got in the stand and it was not long before a cow horn came out he wanted to shoot him but decided to pass and wait for a bigger buck about an hour before dark the 10 point came out. Buck fever kicked in and Rowan after about 10-15 min of shaking finally calmed down enough to take the shot. A night to remember with a heck of a first deer for Rowan.
