I had been eyeballing this buck for 2yrs. Our 1st encounter I made a mistake and he busted me. Perfect wide frame 8. I hunted the same stand a week later and had another encounter, this time undetected. He had broken his G3 so I passed on him. I had 6 encounters throughout the ‘21 season with him. No pictures throughout summer, I thought he may have been hit by a vehicle, or taken by a neighboring hunter. He showed up mid September and I knew I had to get on him fast. A week went by with only night time photos. Moved my camera on a ridge top and he showed up Saturday morning. My uncle and I snuck in there and hung a stand that afternoon and I had him on the ground that evening!
