Davy Hite tries to take a shortcut

Davy Hite tried to take a shortcut during last weekend's Huk Performance Fishing Bassmaster Elite at Winyah Bay, but it didn't work out for him, as the video shows.

Bassmaster Elite angler didn’t weigh any fish today, and this is why

After a tough first day of the Huk Performance Fishing Bassmaster Elite at Winyah Bay, Davy Hite of Ninety-Six was hoping to get on some good bass today. Unfortunately, his day two turned out worse than day one.

At least on day one, Hite brought a bag of 5 fish weighing 7-7 to the scales, and even though they weren’t big fish, he would love to have weighed in a similar limit of bass today. Or any fish at all for that matter.

Hite tried taking a shortcut across a mud flat, stranding his Phoenix bass boat. He was a good enough sport about it to take a short video, explaining his predicament, muddy feet and all.

You’ll get them at Bull Shoals in a few weeks, Davy.
