I was hunting in Caswell county on Sunday Novermber 12th, 2017. I got to my deer stand around 5:30 am. After getting settled, I grunted twice. I could hear the deer as he began moving around me at about 50-75 yards. He circled from about the 2:00 position to the 10:00 position when finally coming into sight at around 6:50 am. He started walking down the tree line just across from me at about 60 yards and then stopped, rubbed his antlers on a low branch and then kicked dirt 10â in the air. I have never seen one kick dirt that hard. After making his scrape,he moved into shooting range. I shot him with my 30.06 and it was over!
