  • I harvested this buck on October 28th, 2014 in Britton's Neck, South Carolina. I hadn't seen anything that afternoon. So about 20 minutes from sunset, I decided to grunt to see if I could provoke a buck to come see who had invaded his territory. Less than 10 minutes later, I heard him coming straight to me very fast. When he did finally come out, I could see nothing but horns and I knew he was a shooter. I dropped him right where he stood with my Browning .308. When I finally did get up close to the buck, I was absolutely amazed with my trophy. He's a 12 point with a 19 inch spread and weighed approximately 190 pounds. He is by far my biggest kill yet. He is now at Piner's Taxidermy who will be getting me an unofficial score soon.
