Been getting him on camera since July. My brother in law had his chance at him and missed onTuesday Nov 10th. I got the chance and took care of business. He came out around 5:25 pm and went out of sight and came right back out, after a doe. Taken on family farm in Snow Camp.
Have been getting this group of bucks coming in on camera since late July, was hoping at a chance on the big 11, but opening day i had a chance on the 8 in velvet. My first ever buck in velvet. He came in with only 10 minutes left of shooting light, with a herd of does and smaller bucks in the corn pile. I shot him at 23 yards. By time i got down the tree it was dark. Couldnt find my arrow, or see any blood. My chances were slim at finding him. Just thought i had a bad shot. I came back Sunday and found my arrow full of dried blood, i knew then he was somewhere dead. After riding around the buzzards led me to him. shot with crossbow at 23 yards Snow Camp, Alamance County
Huge 11 still hanging around, this picture this past Saturday 9/5
Have been getting trail pics every 4 or 5 days, nice group of bucks
I go to the stand on Oct.25 and when I get there I see a large buck in food plot, at day light he wonders off. Over the next hour or so I see close to 15 does all different times moving through the field. About 8:50am a large buck runs out ahead of me from the woods and then this one I shot right behind about 4 to 5 minutes later running 2 does. Shot by Jason Dunn in Snow Camp, Alamance County
