  • Its that time again, turkey season is finally over and I have reports that the Yeti's are running. I will be putting on our second annual Sasquatch/Yeti/Chupacabra hunt. Last year we did not get a Bigfoots, but got as a consolation a chupacabra. Just remember folks abomidable snow men have been seen this far south this is a possibility this time of year. Send me a message and lets join together to put bigfoot researchers out of business.

I will try and upload the pic soon. Avery Taxidermy did mine, he did a great job. FYI he also did the seven beard state record killed in edgecombe back in 2008 I think . He told me, at the time, not to tell anyone he had it at his house. He was afraid someone would break in and steal it. Mine was hanging on the wall waiting for me to pick it up and the guy said he wanted his mounted just like mine!

That is a great one. I killed one almost identical to that one in Stanly county 2007. On the ride home my wife talked me into having it mounted. I am glad I did, although that meant no turkey sandwiches.... I read somewhere that 1 in 50 mature toms has mulitple beards with even a smaller precentage having two or more with good length. Out of all my friends and fellow hunters I know, no one else has killed one and I myself never gave thought to it until I did. My bird was 24lbs one 12 inch beard and the 10 inches with 1 1/2 inch spurs. Congratulations!
