The bass on lake keowee are notoriously nomadic and finicky from day to day. It is wise to always approach a day on keowee with an open mind and to have an arsenal of lures ready to go....I always have 4-5 rods rigged with reactions baits, whatever may be seasonally appropriate, and 4-5 rigged with finesse and semi-finesse presentations. You can always find good bass shallow on keowee, not that they will always cooperate and those bass are usually this time of year for tournament situations. If you want to have a 50-100 bass day on keowee right now grab you a drop shot and a few different size spoons, and some 3/4 oz blade runners and start looking off points, deep humps, roadbeds, and channel ditches in 50-70 foot. Once you get them fired up it will be an every drop affair. Good Luck and Tight Lines!
