No Clue in response to a report titled: Hog Hunting Around Camp Lejeune

Brother I have only been here since August, but probably spent 40-50 days in the stand during deer season all over the place and have not seen a single hog. I have not seen any sign either.
That is a huge buck for Camp Lejeune. I think I have only seen one deer over 100lbs on Lejeune this year and he was crossing Wallace Creek trail while I was out on run. Most of the deer I have seen would dress at 75lbs max.
Rage it is not legal to bow hunt on Sundays on game lands. You can bow hunt private property on Sundays.
That looks awesome! I am going to make me a couple for the property.
Been doing this for years. I seen Snipers doing it at Sniper School while I was running Squad Leaders Course and decided to give it a try. If you have a rifle that you do not mind putting a little tape on I highly suggest it. Even if you have something you do not want to tape you may be able to rig something with a sock.
That is awesome. Congratulations!
Congratulations! I showed the picture to my son and told him he is missing out. I would take him hunting if I could get him to sit still for more than a minute. He is now sitting in his room practicing sitting still and being quiet. Inspiration!
That is a good story and great looking buck to go with it.
Wish I had your shooting ability. I will keep practicing.
I would not call it unethical. If he practices that shot, consistently hits vitals and arrow penetrates enough for a kill I would have to say more power to him. Me on the other hand would never take a shot past 45 yards. I just am not comfortable enough with my skills to do it. I missed the chance on a nice buck my first day out, because he was at 55 yards and I did not have a 'warm and fuzzy' to take the shot.
Very nice shot! I have yet to pull it off myself.Gobblintom, I have the same target. For the smaller bows it is great. My kids shoot on it all the time. For the larger bows (I have an old PSE Thunder Flite with a 70 lbs draw) it is alright. It leaves about 6 inches of the arrow to grip for pull out which can be a pain when it sticks. I have not tried the broad head side of the block.
