This deer drove me crazy for several years. I was finally able to harvest this deer. We have 750 acres and this deer stayed in one spot beside the rd, but with the wind and the narrow strip of woods he stayed in made it hard to hunt him. The past previous years he disappeared right after he shed his velvet, no more pictures and no body would see him. I thought he was leaving the property, but this past year I kept my cameras up till February and he showed back up. Fast forward to August 2012. I start getting pics and he is a 10pt. I'm getting tons of pics and I'm thinking if i don't get this deer he will shed and disappear like the previous years. I took a gamble and moved a stand right in his living-room where I thought he was living next to the rd. 4 days prior to the harvest I wasn't getting any pics so I knew this deer was shedding and I had to move fast! I hunted it that evening and the rest is history! The deer weighed 225lbs and thought to be 6.5 - 7.5 years old. HE HAD NO BOTTOM TEETH. What a true monarch!
Thought I would share, seems too be a coyote stalking a possum in pic 1, pic 2 looks like the coyote has it and shaking it, pic 3 looks like the possum is playing dead...
New deer I got on the cam, One is a freak
For those who wonder about the trophy rock, these pictures speak for them self.
New Primos Black Out. This cam has no sound what so ever, Nor any flash. These deer don't know its there vs the other moultrie's we have around this food plot.
