Killed this buck with my bow a couple weeks ago on a friends property up in Chatham county. Wouldn't normally have shot a deer this young but I needed to break the ice and get a buck in 2013. Shot him at 16 yards quartering hard away with a Rage chisel tip at 8:21 in the morning after passing on a 6 and a spike earlier in the morning. Not the biggest buck ever, but I'm happy with him and how well the hunt came together. Ready to get back to go for the big 10 in the area.
Penny, the chocolate lab retrieving a goose on the Eastern Shore.
Dad took this picture, and I absolutely love it.
I got these pictures in Pender country about a few weeks ago. They're still small bucks but I'm looking forward to seeing them next few years, assuming the club next year doesn't get them. The one facing the cam looks like a 6 or maybe a 7. I cant tell for certain but i was gonna see what y'all think.
As turkey season approaches I have been wondering what broadhead i should use for my turkey hunting. I have been thinking of just using my RAGE two blades but I was just gonna see what yall shoot or would suggest shooting.......
I caught this guy yesterday afternoon.I didnt get a chance to measure him but He was one of probably the 15-16 my friend and I caught. I was using a 2' GULP chartreuse swimming mullet with a rubber tube in front of it. I was using a Stradic Ci4 with power pro on a 3' Triforce rod. haha. The GULP really works!Good luck to all of yall!
I just retrieved the pictures from my trail camera and couldn't believe how many does I had in this one spot. This is my second set of pictures with two does rearing up to fight each other. My question is if any of yall know any way to get these deer to come out during shooting hours? Dropped two tank does last week in this spot an would like to get a chance at some of these.
I got this pic on my trail camera that appears to be two does going at it. Idk if they're fightin or what but lemme know what yall think. And I got anothe pic of the buck I posted the other day.
I recently got these pics of this nice looking buck. I cant tell for sure exactly how many points he has. The part that ABSOLUTELY BREAKS MY HEART is he won't live til next year. I wish i could give him another year to grow but even though I will pass him up the people on the land nest door will not. If it has antlers in any size shape or form they will kill it. I can only hope... Let me know how big yall think he is. Thanks!
I recently got a trail camera and put it up where one of my good friends hunts. We got a picture of this odd 7 pt and he wants me to see if yall think he's a shooter or not. Also check out this blurry pic. We can't tell if its a four or a small six. Please post your opinions. Thanks
I caught this fish about a week ago. I caught him on a 3' field and stream orange and purple trout worm. I was wondering how big he might be. He is 25' long and one of my buddies thought 5-6 lbs but i'm not sure i belive him. Please post any thoughts. Thanks!
I killed my first ever swan this morning around 8:30. I'll post the pics as soon as i can. I have been wondering if anyone knows of a good taxidermist who would be able to mount him for a god price. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks!!
