Nice buck, i am starting to get excited.
Nice call there dino, it looks like a long tail but after a closer look it is a the end of the ditch. I am certain that is a bobcat.
It is a food source so therefore hunting over corn is fair chase. No different than planting food plots or hunting overlooking agricultural fields. Plus it is perfectly legal.I also have killed several big deer coming to a corn pile, the biggest grossed 137 inches
I have been after this guy 3 times now. He has been a no show. I noticed a few weeks ago that the deer had not been eating the apples like they were. I thought it was probably because of acorns. To my suprise a huge male coyote showed up Saturday evening (to eat apples). I guess that is why the deer had stopped coming in. Needless to sya but, the coyote got a little dose of a muzzy 100 grain right through both shoulders--He didn't seem to like that too good, haha. I was able to capture the whole thing on film and will post it on you tube as soon as I figure out how.
I paid 7 dollars a bag for 50 pound bags. This is in Wilkes County if yoiu would like directions I can supply them.
Might want to wait for a more ethical shot next time. Straight down shots are never a good idea. Way to go.
I think he is a shooter. I would not hold out another year.
I think it is an eight.
I would give him another year to see what he can do.
I frequently here people say they have seen one. Personally I think they are confusing Bobcats for Mt. Lions. There may be a few out there but I doubt it.
