Carolina Sportsman writer wants to interview you for a story
July 30 at 12:26pm
I'm the former editor of NC and SC Sportsman magazines (and now retired but still write free-lance stories for Carolina Sportsman).
I've been assigned a 'pre-rut stand placement' story for Carolina Sportsman Magazine that has a rapidly approaching deadline (Aug. 10), so I'd like to talk to you about the buck you bagged at Beech Island and entered into the 2017 Bag-A-Buck contest (that's where I saw your photo with the buck). We write stories two months in advance so this story would be published in the Oct. 2018 issue of CS.
I thought you might have some interesting ideas about stand placement(s).
If you can call me asap at 336-376-9383 (home office) or 336-684-6899 (cell) or email me your phone number at firstname.lastname@example.org
I can call you. Call me from 8 a.m.-11 p.m. (If you call my office phone and get my answering machine, wait for the intro then a beep and leave your phone number and best time(s) to call you and I'll do that and save you a long-distance fee or burn your cell-phone hours). Do not text me -- I have an old-fashioned flip phone, not a smart phone. I call it my 'dumb' phone.
Anyway, call or email me asap. I also would like you to email me 2 or 3 of your best photos of you with your buck. Please send digital photos as attachments, if you can.
I look forward to talking to you soon,
