Hunting public land in Newberry county deep in a river bottom when this giant walks out 65 yards to my left. The buck freezes up in the second of two windows I had to shoot, and after a ten minute stare down the deer finally turns and gives me the best shot opportunity...I make the shot and knew instantly he was hit as he went crashing thru the thick brush, running about 70 yards before piling up. This was the picture I took when I first saw him and wow is he big! He has not been scored officially but many have scored him in the low to mid 150'S.
