The property I have to hunt is a total of 29.4 acres in western North Carolina which is not typically known for producing big bucks but on the second day of rifle season after harvesting a 9 point in the first day I harvested a big 10 point on November 22, 2016 on an evening hunt. I was about to leave after not seeing anything after a long evening hunt and was packing my things up when I looked back in the field and saw a die rush out from behind a hill and right behind her a nice buck grunting his head off. Not knowing what buck it was I put my scope on him and then realized exactly what buck it was 'Wideload' had made his was in the field. He chased 3 does all around the field and when he finally turned broadside where I could get a good shot I harvested the buck I had pictures of starting in early October.
