I started off the hunt by spraying some Tinks on the bottom of my boots as I neared my stand. At about 5:30 p.m. this buck walked the same trail in. I saw his heavy left side and knew that he was a shooter for me. The shot went a little back and hit his liver and the arrow didn't pass all of the way through but I could see him bleeding. He ran off and I could hear him crash. After dark, my hunting buddy/ expert deer tracker helped find the buck. The deer only went about 80 yards so we backed out and let his niece follow the blood and find the deer. Good memories from a good hunt.
