Well it's been a while since I posted anything on here so I hope everybody's doing well. Hate we lost a great guy on this site due to cancer but I know he's in Heaven now with his Lord and savior, RIP Creek.

Had a great deer season this past year. Harvested 2 nice bucks. Been doing a little duck hunting with little to no luck. lol. But I'm ready for warmer weather, crappie fishing and can't wait to go out listening for Ol Thunder Throat!! Sure won't be long. Be gone before you know it. Gotta get out and put some cameras out soon and check my inventory!!

Uh? You know I'm ready lol...I hung my Cameras today and gave the Deer/Turkeys a Mid-Winter Snack and sprinkled some around my Antler Traps I have at 2 different places but Got so many coons, They Gobble up everything that hits the Ground and with my new Job I don't have time to do much trapping for them But Yeah, I miss Creek!!! Still have his Number in my phone..Sad Times!! Hope his Brother Jody and I can put his (Jeffs) Daughter on a Gobbler this year...That's the Plan anyhow.

    Turkey Season
Glad to see you back man!! And YES I am ready for turkey season...Didn't get to go much last year so I definitely have to make up for it this year....

And yes we lost a great man last month....Ten Oaks will never be the same without him but I know He will always be there with us looking over our shoulder....Continue to keep his wife, Krista, and daughter, Emily, and his brother, Jody, in your prayers....

need ideas where to turkey hunt
You asked if we we're ready for turkey season ... Well yes as a matter a fact I am :-) Last year was my 1st ever attempt ( I say attempt ) because I harvested not one single turkey. A friend had some property and said we could take a chance so we did. I have only been hunting in NC 2 yrs. So I haven't had a lot of networking with other fellow hunters, so I am asking for advice..Are there any good public land areas that I might actually be able to harvest my 1st turkey this season??
