Hey guys, need some help here. I have been working in High Point for the last few weeks and now am getting some time to set up in the evenings. I recently went to Alcoa game lands to check it out and do some scouting after looking at the maps, but, i drove everywhere, in and out, and all around looking for somewhere to access any potential areas there. I didnt find not one place anywhere around there. Both sides of the interstate and both sides of the river and not one access point, nor did i ever see one game land sign on a tree. Everywhere i went it was either blocked by houses and yards or where i thought might be a good place to park and hike in there were multiple signs posted as no tresspassing or no hunting. What's the deal. How can i access these areas or does anyone have any suggestions of where i can go? Gonna go look around Uwharrie tonight. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Some decent Alcoa GL off of River Road that borders Tuckertown Lake...The better areas are boat access but still a few decent walk in areas also...Just don't block the Fire access Cable at the walk-in spots..Alot of deer in these areas if your on a meat hunt and several Game processors along the road that takes ya there on highway 8 off of 85 coming from High Point...Good Luck
