  • Creating Wildlife Habitat

Creating habitat for wildlife is important for wildlife and for us as hunters. The South Carolina Wildlife Federation is conducting a workshop to teach outdoorsmen about creating wildlife habitat on Sept. 28th from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Heathwood Hall School at 3000 Beltline Blvd in Columbia.

Topics covered will include the basics of wildlife habitat and how small changes can bring big benefits. Instructors will also talk about plants native to South Carolina and how they can be planted and used to create cover and food for wildlife.
