Well after my first Duck season last year, I guess I have the bug lol..new Waders in max 4, New insulated waterproof parka in Max 4, New Drake Hoodie in max 4, new Mossberg 935 in max 4 and new Wood Duck Decoys ETC lol so it was just a matter of time before I decided to Camo my Boat...I looked at a ton of patterns and the natural Gear seemed to get the Vote as the Best for any terrain so that's what I went with...The Natgear called for a khaki Base but I said screw that lol I just used the original army green base of my Boat, Prepped it and went at it...Going with Tan DuraCraft 1860CC decals when they get here...I called around and the cheapest I found to do my Boat was $950 and that's even after I mentioned that the inside wasn't to be painted so I said..Screw it!! I'll do it myself and I'm happy with the results but I will say...Not sure If I'll tackle a job like this again..It's a slow process to make it look halfway decent...Still gotta reinstall trolling motor, Rod Holders ETC...What ya think??

    Camo
Great job. Looks like a professional job. My buddy use to duck hunt a little bit. He made a camo cover over his boat using PVC pipe and arched it from one side to another.....your next addition!lol!

    Thanks
Thanks Viper and Yeah, I'm working on a frame and my brother found a HUGE army cover in a duffel bag sitting beside a dumpster 1 day while working...It's the die cut material in woodland camo and it's big enough to cover a Tank lol so he gave it to me for my birthday so I'm thinking of using it. I was skeptical at first about doing this Job but once I started..I just went with it lol

    Scissor Rig
GT, I know how ya feel man, I got the bug a couple seasons ago, Sold the bass boat bought a grizzly, and about 50-60 dekes, a new A5, you get the point....I might suggest a scissor rig, they're not so much hassle to take up and down, last time we built one in only costed about 80 or 100 bucks in materials and knocked it out in an afternoon, I've gotta build one for my rig, thats this paychecks fun money - I'll post when finished

    Cool
Sounds Cool Soundneck...I found a Avery Blind for a 1860 that has light use I can get for $350 anytime I want it so I might consider that later on but last year when we used the Boat we usually just pulled up into the timber and covered the Boat with a big army net and waited lol

Don't know anything about duck hunting but the boat looks great to me. Good job GT - takes a lot of patience to pull something like that off.

    Good Looking Boat
Great job on that boat. Its not extreme by any means. If you need other ideas for the blind, check out the boats on a couple of duck hunting forums. www.duckhuntingchat.com is one of the sites that I frequent.
Becareful though, duck hunting is addictive, and as you are finding out - Expensive.
    Good luck this season.
