  • Beach Front Flounder

Kevin and Evi are working the beaches and pulling good sized flatties from the sand. A cast net, minnow bucket a few leaders, some 1/4 ounce lead, and a Shimano 2500 and you are ready to roll. Working the incoming tide around the rocks and jetties coming from the beach. Slow dragging live minnows up to the edges of the rocks. It has been a productive method for them. Waiting for that BUMP and then the 15 second countdown, before setting the hook into the mouth of a hungry flatty.

After a quick check from the DNR, these beauties were released in the grease for a fine Sunday evening meal.

Get your gear together and get out there and enjoy the summer weather.
