    I was inspired by a recipe in NC game & Fish magazine for bacon wrapped / plank cooked turkey breast.

    Well, I didn't really care for the plank part of it. Nothing against a semi smoked flavor, just not my personal favorite.

    I also didn't use the rum.honey/ dijon mustard marinade either.

    I just took two big ole wild turkey breasts, dry rubbed them with ranch seasoning powder mix, covered them in bacon, salyt and peppered them and baked at 375 for 50 minutes.

    They were awesomly great tasting!

    Garlic roasted mashed potatoes and garlic bread on the side with fresh brewed homemade ice tea.

    Oh, I did soak the breasts in a pot of salted water for about 24 hours, rinsed and patted dry before cooking.
