Got a kayak two weeks ago to Duck hunt out of in the winter and fish during the rest of the year. Last week I caught my two biggest bass. A 10.2lb and a 9.11 both caught out of a KAYAK! If you have never tried kayak fishing give it a whirl it's a blast. And theres nothing like watching a bass boat go by at 70 mph while your nestled in on the bank pulling out some hawgs. Just goes to show it aint about the boat its knowing where to be

    WOW
Great Job. Those are some nice bass. These smaller boats are great because they can maneuver into hot spots that the big guys can't. Goes to show size don't matter...unless you're talking about those lunkers you caught, and those are definately impressive.

    I hear ya!
I kayak fish almost every day after work, theres nothing better then getting towed around in your yak by a 6+ pound bass in a cove haha. This time of year the big ones on Lake norman are back in areas that you cant get boats into. Plus even if you get skunked, its a wonderfull workout. Those are huge fish!

    Sounds like me!
Whenever I Get off of work the lake Tillery is on my way home and I'll throw the yak in the back of the truck and hit the water for a few hours before dark. Been slaying some crappie this past week!
