There's a Fine line between Fishing in 19 degree weather and.....Well never mind lol..That's awesome and I have had these days Striper fishing...From the water back to the reel the line would freeze and as I was reeling it in it would pop off at reel and stick me in the face like needles and actually bring blood but hey...It's always Fun huh? Those are some beautiful trout!!! Congrats!!!!

    Thanks!
I have alot of college buddys with houses in boone because of App state. When they are all sleeping in till 3PM nursing hangovers I like to sneak out and fish haha. If you bundle up enough the temperature is just a number lol. Missed a few BIG ones, during this time of year everything I catch is over 12 inches which is mostly why i even go. The picture I posted showing the iced guides has a house across the bank in it. I fished that Rock for 1 hour with 6 huge toms watching me not even 65 yards away, feeding in the guys front yard, good times.

The cold is an inconvinience, but as an aspiring trout bum i need to be able to handle any and all conditions haha. I wanted to head to the mountains 1 last time before i spend all my time this Month on Lake norman trying to smack some bass/crappies.Good luck to everyone, cant wait to see the pictures!
