Fished this morning, got four blues with the biggest 58.8 lbs. He gave me a fit, one of the best if not the best fight a blue has ever gave me. Here's a couple of pics

Careful! Don't strain your RED MEAT
That is a whopper! Scary thing is there are bound to be some twice that big there! Was you using cut bait? Bout how deep were you fishing? I have been very impressed with your posts. Keep it up. It is a joy seeing whats going on down near mom's home town of Norwood. You make me want to spool up with some heavy line, and hook the boat up! Never blue fished much, but maybe I would if you tell me some pointers. Thanks

    Tips
The best tip I have is to get out there and spend time on the water. Then use cut baits from fish that live in the lake, mix in some live baits when early spring gets here. Fish ledges and humps, anchor your boat to where you can place baits in different depths, fish like to hang on and around the channel ledges this time of year, but a good current may make them travel a little if they pick up the scent of your baits. Be patient and put as many baits in the water as you can ( more scent ), I fish 10 rods at a time, you won't hang up or cross lines as much as you would think. Last, release the big ones to grow even bigger, keep the smaller ones to eat. Good Luck
