Recently the bite in charleston, sc has been good. To catch redfish, we have been using chunks of fresh crab, and cut mullet around low tide. We have been fishing schools of reds, so when you find a school, stay way back and make a long cast and you should do fine. As for trout, artificials along with live shrimp under corks with long leaders have produced well. If your using artificial baits, work them slowly on the bottom. Thats it for now.
