I received this photo two days ago. My friend who let me hunt his land this year, got it from his neighbors' cell phone. He works in automotive. He saw one of his neighbors while working. Don't know how they got on the subject of deer. His neighbor said he shot this deer mid December, from his back porch. Turns out his house is maybe 500 yds from my stand sites. My buddy almost ran this deer over with his car last year. And had me pumped up about the area talking about it and another. I had a great time trying for bubba this year. But, realize now I prolly pushed deer into the thick stuff behind the dudes house. LOL I saw some nice deer, but nothing like this! I never got a pic of him either. The good thing is, turns out all of us, including his neighbor, have seen another bruiser with more mass, but less points. Last spotted by my buds girlfriend last week. So, my three year plan is still in effect! I learned a great deal this year about the area. So, maybe I will be posting pics of MY deer next year. ;) IF NOT maybe more of this guys! Dude invited us to go see it at taxidermist. I think it looks over 150 typical, maybe more because of length.

    Dang It man
WOW Bummer man!!! He does indeed have some length to him...I would say close to 150 also the best I can tell...You will have your day man, Just keep doing what your doing...You might have heard me say in the past that I'm almost 100% sure that 2 of my best deer were spooked to me by other hunters...I have a few areas that i really want to explore into but it's this thought that keeps me outta there lol...That's a great Buck!!!

Man that a nice stud there. Any idea how old he is/was? Probably is pushing 150.
Good luck this coming season on the other stud.

Yeah carpet muncher, that's a whopper! I'd say 150# may be conservative - he may push 160 and beautiful all around rack. Good luck on the one that's still out there. Get scoutin!

he he! It is surprising that just came out. After all this time. I came up with that while working second shift. I would come home from work and the show Poker after dark would be the only thing on TV worth watching. I have liked playing cards since I was little. Texas Holdem has become the game of choice in Vegas. To those who like rock n roll. You all have heard the song talking about Going on a MAGIC_CARPET_RIDE? In texas holdem there is a hand called magic carpet ride. It is 9 7. Not particularly good hand to be holding, especially against pocket AA's. But, some pro players play it because in poker as luck would have it 9 7 is a powerful hand. 9 7 of hearts, I always go ALL IN. I use carpet_rider as my profile on all the online poker sites. And all of them I get comments about munching. It is funny that here yall were a little SLOw in getting it. Fairchase musta been dropped on his head enough as a baby that it, stuck out in the one part of his brain that still worked. ;) Lord! I apologize! We should start a cut down page. OH we just did! LOL Maybe we shouldn't! You all own Guns. HE HE! The balls in yalls court!

Hey muncher, you made me lol for sure.. and yes, I likely was dropped on my head a time or two when I was a baby. For some reason, I can't remember... Every time I would see a post from you with the first word carpet, I never got it out of my mind. No harm in a little ribbing among sportsmen - GT, Diane DD and the gang go back and forth. Have fun buddy and keep us posted on the pursuit of the other monster you've got out there.
