    Yes!
Super excited, any thoughts on making a mineral site, also it is advisable to do so right next to a feeder? Now that we are talking about feeders, anyone have a recommendation on one? What about spring and summer feeding amounts and times? Any information on this subject will be relevant since I am new to trying to feed and keep them coming back :)

TROPHY ROCK!!!! I tried the DIY Mineral Sites the last few years with OK results but in the areas I hunt, They will come to a Trophy Rock almost Daily...I have also tried auto feeders...They are OK but I wouldn't camp out over it...The deer get wise after a few of their friends drop under it so I would keep 1 in the area to satisfy the deer but with the Price of Corn these Days, It's a better choice to plant a Food Plot!!

Its in a rather shady area, is there something I can plant that will grow? Trophy rock will be coming next then!!! Its exactly a 25 yard shot from corner of my lot through the lane to where those pictures are from. :)

    New House
Congrats to you and the wife on the new house. Are these photos at the new house?

Either way you have a good herd working there and those does are fat. They're making me hungry just looking at them....lol!

    Food Plot
Your Best bet would be to get a Soil Sample of the area in question. You can get a DIY Kit and there are several products on the market that are advertised to produce in such areas as shady. What type of Competition you have around you as far as other hunters? I have tried the Food plot deal before to keep the Deer happy on a 93 acre place that I hunt alone but once the Rut starts and your neighbors could care less about quality and the Deer roam thier way..It's heartbreaking that all the hard work was to benefit them when they shoot every deer that gives them a shot!!!

    Not Much
Viper - Yes these pictures are from the new house, right behind it actually, my dog smells them often.

GT - Not much in the way of pressure per say but more from kids who like to play in the woods and the every other day teenagers who are partaking in the wacky tabacky I believe. LOL

lol Sounds like the spot I hunt behind my place...I have had love-Birds walking cuddled up right under my stand during Bow season and never know I'm looking down on them...Kinda good in a way though because I can hear kids Playing,Dogs barking, Smell the occasional BBQ Grill ETC and they deer pay it no mind...It's whatever they get used to in thier comfort zone...When I first got permission and hung a camera back there, I was shocked at all the critters that were right under my nose lol...I have seen a few decent Deer in the 20 years I have ventured around in there but the biggest I have killed was a heavy 7 a few years ago on a Sunday Bow Hunt and he was a deer that I had never seen before that day...Just never know....Here's a Picture of him...You might have seen it before but I'm proud of him because I took him during Gun season on My Daughters Birthday...Nov. 21st

    Awesome
Ya that sounds just like where I am talking about. Sure hoping that soon they start to open up the urban archery season in different counties. I have friends all over the place in different counties and man are there some monsters that no one can harvest, and I mean destroying land and cars at the same time. I also need to get with ya about the turkey call I emailed you about, as well as trying to find a place or even an outfitter possibility for a turkey hunt. Like I said earlier that this turkey season is a must to happen :)
