  • CATT-Lake Wylie Fall Final

Chris Marshall and Ronnie Wilson waited until the final fall tournament on the Lake Wylie leg of the Carolina Anglers Team Trail to bring in the biggest sack of the season. Their total weight of 18.23 lbs included the big fish of the day, a 5.11 lb kicker. The two took home over $1700 for their win.

David Winters and Brian Huskin finished a distant 2nd, bringing 5 fish to the scales that weighed 12.9 lbs which earned them $750.

Gordon Smith and Jared Kimak took 3rd place with a total weight of 10.71 lbs and pocketed $211.

Tournament director Brett Collins said the fall bite on Wylie was tougher than normal this year. The trail still paid back over $20,000 on Wylie in 2012, and 2013 looks to be even better, with the winners of the 2013 spring final scheduled to take home a minimum of $3000.

The CATT Trail fishes major bodies of water in South Carolina and North Carolina and is the highest paying local tournament trail on their respective lakes. For more information, visit
