After about a month into the season I was already getting discouraged. I had missed one buck with my 3 year son in the stand with me and then another doe the week after. This time I was determined it had to be different. I wasnt in the stand 30 minutes and 2 bucks were on the corn. I was nervous to miss again but you miss 100% of the shots you dont take so I took the shot. But, after 2 hours of searching for my buck I had given up all hope. While trying to leave I got my stepdads truck stuck, then my boyfriend got his truck stuck trying to get him out. I called my brother who I knew would have no problem with his 4 wheel drive and he came to my rescue. Before pulling the trucks out he decided to talk a walk back in the woods and take a look for himself. He found the blood and my boyfriend spotted the deer. Being stuck in the mudd and freezing cold paid off. Thanks them I found my buck and a even bigger thanks to all the crap all the men gave me for missing the first two, gave me just the frame of mind I needed to kill him! By the looks of things this year is for the girls boys... WATCH OUT!!! This all went down in Marion County.
