I was sitting in my stand from about 3 til dark and about 5:00 a 9 pointer came in the field and I was gonna let him walk because he wasnt what I was looking for and about 5:15 a doe came in and roughly around 5:16 this huge 16 pointer came out of nowhere and ran the 9 pointer out and I threw the gun up and shot him on the run and got him!!!! I had no clue How many points he had I just knew he was a monster and that's what I was looking for.

    You define the word patience!
Did you know that deer was in your area? Was the 9pt smaller than your previous best? I say I am a trophy hunter. But, don't think I could pass a nice 9pt, unless I knew there was a better one around! Your picture should be beside definition of 'Trophy hunter' in the dictionary! Well Done! You should be the cover story of next month's issue! What is the rough score BC? Appears to be at least 160! Hope to see you at Dixie Deer Classic!

    Super Nice
Man that is a Super Nice Buck of a lifetime there. There were a lot of deer moving around 5:15pm yesterday. I guess they were tired of laying around and when the rain quit.....they were crawling.

Nothing like being at the right place at the right time....Congratulations.

    Thank You
the guy i took it to scored it as a non typical deer and a typical deer and as a non typical he scored a 173 and as a typical deer he scored it as a 163 but yes the nine pointer was nicer than my previous buck when i was 15 but i knew there was bigger deer in the woods. i didnt know anything like this was waiting in the woods though. Defiantly an awesome experience! thank you all and good luck the rest of this season.

    Cover story for sure.
God did good when he made that buck, huh?! I appreciate your holding out. That's how bucks get big. We should all take a lesson from you! Way to go, buddy. Like CR said, if that's not a cover story buck, I don't know what is.
