    So I found a spot on a small nob,about 30 yards circle around.ceder trees destroyed and major league rubs and scrapes all over this spot. do I watch this spot from down wind as much as possible or back off a few hundred yrds to call, put out scent, rattle, or what. there is oaks near by but spread out so its a crap shoot where to sit Im nervous to blow a great chance at a big buck?? What would yall do in this situation?? also a stream in this spot 100 yrds east of this bedding nob HELP..jager.

    I tell ya jager...It's that time of year that it's unpredictable!!! Once They start chasing the P hole, They can end up anywhere...If it was a few weeks ago I would say to get on it and sit as much as you can because sounds like his Core area for sure!! I have a similar area that's a Old drained Pond that each year gets ripped apart but the culprit is a Ghost..I have a Trail Camera in there right now and even though it's 80 yards from the end of 1 of my lanes..I have yet to see him over the years....If your area is a low pressure area I would still hunt it asap but not sure about bait or any scent because with the sign you described, He is going to notice anything out of the ordinary...Hope you will catch him chasing Love...I'll be looking for your Post Buddy and Good Luck!!!!
