Well, Stayed indoors since Saturday! Good thing! Checked cams today and no activity in my area! I took my backpack blower with me at lunch and blew all the leaves out of my two winter plots. I planted thro' n gro' under the white oaks where deer had rooted up leaves digging acorns all year. Saved alot of raking and preparation! I planted in 3rd week of August, right b4 last 3 day rain. Boy that stuff is greeeen! Sandy covered it up! Found new rub and scrape, so I plan all day hunt 2morrow. Going to bleat/grunt n rattle. Going to put decoy with doe in heat in plot! Does anybody else like the first two weeks b4 the rut, better than rut? I DO! Bucks are just waiting for doe to come in, so i bring one in! LOL It is hard to call one away from hot doe. You have to luck up and have her run through!

I waited it out till today and could only hunt from 9a.m. till 1:30 and didn't see shit. Wind was shiftin all over the place. Hopin next few days it calms down a bit more and we should get some serious movement. Good luck man. sounds like a good set-up
