saw 12 deer that evening (15 Sept 12), arrowed nice 8 pointer @1910 at 13 yards with a nice tall 6 and 4 pointer standing beside him all eating Buck Yum, and two more deer stepped out in the field 5 minutes after I shot, waited two hours to begin track, tracked for 250 yards and 1.5 hours

yeah he did go pretty far, it was unbelieveable, I shot him at a high angle and clipped the back of the lung and liver, not the most perfect shot but, buck is down.......

    Welcome to the site Ronnie!!

That is a great buck man and even better that it was your first with a bow..Yep, we do not always make the perfect shot but that is where having good equipment comes into play. In this case, sharp broadheads were the trick. At the end of the day you got and that is all that matters...Good job!!

It is costing me $16 per 50 lb bag here in Goldsboro. I've used it for the past two years and it brings the bucks in. Thanks for the comments! Good luck!
